The Employer Coalition of Louisiana is an employer-led healthcare coalition whose purpose is to improve the value payers and patients receive for their healthcare expenditures by lowering costs and improving safety, quality, and consumer experience.

Our goal is to help you — the employer who purchases healthcare — bend the steep trend of the healthcare cost increases that have been burdening your organization and to help your employees receive higher quality care. The Coalition membership includes employers, providers, hospitals, health plans, benefit consultants, and other interested parties.
Who Can Join?
Employer Membership is offered to employers whose primary business is NOT healthcare delivery. These employers are looking to make a positive difference in the value they receive for their healthcare expenditures. The Coalition is looking for like-minded employers ready to engage and collaborate with other employers and healthcare stakeholders to address healthcare affordability and quality.

Membership provides diverse stakeholders from across the state with the insights, tools, advocacy, and networks needed to drive meaningful change and lower healthcare costs.
- Access a network of likeminded Louisiana employers of all sizes and structures to share knowledge, troubleshoot challenges, and drive impactful change across the state.
- Contribute to our unified voice and gain influence when speaking to health plans, hospitals, provider groups, and policymakers.
- Connect with stakeholders from across the healthcare continuum, including hospital leaders and health plans, who provide industry knowledge that can positively impact employer spending decisions.
- Attend exclusive educational events.
- Access a library of curated resources, including: National Alliance Action Briefs, data analytics tools, independent, non-biased hospital price information, national population health management programs, and timely publications that support our mission and include findings related to employee wellbeing, healthcare spending trends, clinical developments and more.
How to Join
Step 2: Payment
You will be notified of your application status. When your application is accepted, you will receive an invoice for your annual dues. Upon payment, your membership begins. Congratulations and welcome to the Employer Coalition of Louisiana!
Step 3: Onboarding
As an employer member of the Employer Coalition of Louisiana, you will immediately receive access to exclusive communications, resources and events. Our administrative team will reach out to confirm we have received your payment and send a welcome email. Please be prepared to provide the following:
- A logo for our website
- Contact information for individuals who will be active in your membership
- Including email addresses for our exclusive member newsletter
- Your organization’s social media handles

Annual Membership Dues
Member dues allow the Coalition to exist as an operational entity. Rates are scaled based on your organization’s size and category. If you have questions about dues or rate categories, please reach out to info@employercoalitionla.org.
