Founded in 1948 and based in Galliano, LA, Grand Isle Shipyard, LLC (GIS) is a full service, EPC contractor organized under three (3) main subsidiaries; GIS Engineering, LLC, Blanchard Industrial, LLC, and Grand Isle Shipyard, LLC. With the combination of these subsidiaries, GIS, LLC is strategically organized and positioned to be a full-service provider of Upstream, Midstream and Downstream Construction and Maintenance as well as the Renewables market (solar, hydrogen, carbon sequestration), public works and Disaster Relief. Acting as a client’s single point of contact, GIS is able to leverage over 20 service lines and 20 strategically located facilities. GIS’s vast array of assets along with years of proven experience make them truly versatile, allowing them to offer unique tailored solutions to their clients.
