Dr. Jay Marque is the founder, CEO, and medical director of Lake Charles Urgent Care, a locally owned, physician-led organization providing urgent care, primary care, occupational health, and preventive wellness services across Southwest Louisiana. Since 2011, he has focused on improving access to timely, high-quality care while helping employers manage healthcare utilization and costs. Through direct employer partnerships, LCUC addresses emergency department overuse, gaps in primary and preventive care, and workplace health needs. Its services include same-day care, occupational medicine, onsite biometric screenings, and practical, data-informed strategies that support employee wellness, early intervention, and long-term cost containment.
